Sex during pregnancy?

Yes!

Many couples find that sex during pregnancy is better than ever. Increased blood flow to the pelvic area causes genital engorgement, which can mean heightened sensations for women, and your ever-increasing hormones contribute to increased vaginal lubrication. Pregnancy also makes some women feel very sexy, feminine, and free. Plus, now that you don't have to worry about getting pregnant (if that's something you tried to avoid for a while), you might feel more sexual than ever before. But other couples find their sexual appetites are decreased or they're just too nervous to have sex. If you and your partner are worried, consider that:
Ø  Unless your caregiver tells you otherwise, it's absolutely safe to have sex right up until your due date.
Ø  Intercourse and orgasm do not pose any risk to your developing baby. Your baby is protected by the fluid in the amniotic sac, so any sex-related jostling won't hurt.
Your baby won't know you're having sex. (Orgasms can sometimes cause slight uterine contractions, but your baby won't know what they're from.) Read More
